She is former Research Associate at the Max-Planck-Institut f\u00fcr ausl\u00e4ndisches und internationals Privatrecht of Hamburg and former Marie Curie Fellow at the Zentrum f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4isches Rechtspolitik of the University of Bremen. She has authored a book on Secured Transactions over Immovable Property in European Law, co-edited many books and published articles and essays on comparative property law and comparative cultural heritage law. She has co-directed an international research project financed by the European Union (ERA-NET PLUS - Horizon 2020) entitled \"The Right to Cultural Heritage - Its Protection and Enforcement Through Cooperation in the European Union\".
